Cheeseman LLC Earns C-TPAT Certified Partner Status

On April 29th U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), welcomed Cheeseman LLC as a certified partner in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT). The certification came after several months of preparation developing our internal and external security processes. Our participation with CBP, is vital to help secure our borders and ensure the continued free flow of international trade. The certification comes in conjunction with our certification in 2010 from the Canada Border Services Agency as a Partner in Protection (PIP).

Cheeseman LLC Transitions to PeopleNet Mobile Communications

On February 1st, Cheeseman LLC will have completed a transition of the entire fleet to the PeopleNet™ BLU units. The BLU product provides real-time in-cab communications, eDriver Logs® and NaviGo®. The addition of PeopleNet™ will allow optimal systems interface to enhance shipment tracking, driver support and compliance and vehicle maintenance and monitoring. The tools that the BLU system provides to fleet drivers are substantial. The eDriver Logs® improves the driver's ability to be compliant while providing dispatchers full visibility to improve utilization. The addition of the NaviGo® product provides drivers GPS mapping, routing and directions for ease of locating new and existing customers.
